WOW! This year's Iowa graduation was more than we ever could have imagined. Hundreds of attendees came out to the Waverly Area Veterans Post to congratulate and celebrate with the graduating pairs on Saturday night, June 9.
Two heartfelt videos left many in tears, Farm Bureau presented a donation to help numerous local recipients finish out their fundraising, and a Girl Scout, whose brother has a RFI autism Service Dog, presented a basket of donated goodies (for the dogs, of course).
Max - Facility Dog at Lutheran Services in Iowa - Bremwood. Max will take part in therapy sessions and travel into public with clients when necessary.
Sammie - Facility Dog at North Woods Schools. Sammie helps kiddos in her school daily, offering them affection and her undivided, nonjudgmental, unconditionally loving attention.
Briggs - Service Dog for a Marine veteran
Rex - Service Dog for a child with autism
Parker - Service Dog for an Army veteran
Gordy - Service Dog for an Army veteran

Special thanks to all who helped make this event and these pairs possible. To the fosters who raised these dogs in a loving environment to prepare them for future training, to the teachers who work with the dogs in their classrooms, to the students who spend countless hours training the dogs, and to the recipients for focusing on training and learning alongside their fur-ever best friend.
Thank you to the Post for allowing us to use your facilities! Thank you to Zwanziger & Boe Orthodontics for providing the food. Thank you to Jacqui for planning, KWAY for live broadcasting, Ashley for the videos, and all of the volunteers who helped set up and tear down.
