Getting puppies off to the right start to become a service dog is one of the most important stages of our program. Puppy raisers are dedicated individuals and families who help with the first 8-10 months of the puppy's life and training. They will provide a loving home, public socialization, and begin the basic training process.

Breeding foster homes give their time and abilities to whelp a litter of puppies in their home, raising those puppies, and caring for their mother for the following 8 weeks.

We are also looking for individuals to weekend foster service dogs in training who are in Stages 2 and 3 of training. Residing at our facility, these dogs are typically between 1 and 2 years of age, and they venture into weekend foster homes Fridays through Sundays.

Experts from Retrieving Freedom will be there to help throughout the entire process with training classes and open communication. Being a foster home will be one of the most rewarding experiences that you and your family will ever be a part of.
