Calvin Corson

Cal has always enjoyed doing volunteer work for causes that helped Veterans, children and families. Upon retirement, Cal was able to devote more time to helping where needed, and in the fall of 2011, he was introduced to Retrieving Freedom. Since that time, he has volunteered in any capacity he could to help with, primarily fundraising and the promotion for Retrieving Freedom. He has witnessed first-hand how Retrieving Freedom is indeed changing the lives of our Disabled Veterans, our Children with Autism and their families. Cal says, “I look forward to being involved even more as we continue the RFI Mission. God Bless Retrieving Freedom and those we serve.”

Benjamin Boren

Upon graduation from Mississippi State University in 2002 with a B.A. in Risk Management, Financial Planning & Insurance, Ben began a successful career in sales. In 2005, Boren Insurance Agency was born.  Ben’s vision for market growth led he and a trusted friend to partner and form Boren & Hawkins Inc. in 2011.  Since that time, B&H Nationwide has grown to employee 10 staff members and has 4 locations in North MS.  The company prides itself on ethical standards of honesty and un-matched service.

Ben is also an avid outdoorsman that loves the quiet of the deer woods, the comradery of the duck blind and the competition of sporting clay shooting. When it comes to volunteering his time, Ben and his family are active members in a local Christ following church who often open their home for Bible study and fellowship.  Ben and his family also serve inside the local prison in Parchman, MS ministering to the incarcerated residents.

Ben and his wife Laura have been married for 14 years and have two daughters, Grace and Emma. They live on a farm just outside Hernando, MS with one dog, Gumbo.
