Greater Iowa - Honoring Veterans on Veterans Day

Thrivent is hosting an event to support Veteran-serving organizations, and Retrieving Freedom is honored to be a part of it! Read the information below from a Thrivent representative about the event happening on Veterans Day in Waverly, Iowa:

"This Veteran's Day, your Thrivent Member Network (TMN) - Greater Iowa is honoring those who have served & fought for our freedom by partnering with two Veteran-serving organizations in Iowa.
Bring a donation on Monday, November 11 from 7-8pm and meet the service dogs from:

• Patriots for Pets – Surf District Rock ‘n’ Roll Grill, 619 Buddy Holly Pl, Clear Lake, IA

*Current needs: Bleach, laundry detergent, paper towel, dog treats

• Retrieving Freedom – Wartburg College Chapel Commons Room, 1^st Ave NW, Waverly, IA

*Current needs: Dog treats

While you're at the event, post a selfie of you and a service dog to our Facebook page (or email it to [email protected]), and you'll be entered for a donation to be made in your name!
