BTC Bank Raised $18,981 for RFI

Retrieving Freedom is honored to share the incredible impact of BTC Bank’s Mascot Debit Card Program. This year, BTC Bank customers raised $18,981 simply by using their Retrieving Freedom debit cards. Every purchase made with this card directly supports our mission to place Service Dogs with Veterans with disabilities and children with autism.

BTC Bank offers a special Retrieving Freedom Mascot Debit Card that gives back with every swipe. Every time a customer makes a purchase, whether in-store or online, BTC Bank donates $0.075 to Retrieving Freedom at no extra cost to the cardholder. It is a simple and meaningful way to support our mission through something people already do every day.

The impact of this program has grown significantly each year:

• 2023: 67,000 swipes raised $5,000

• 2024: 153,625 swipes raised $11,522

• 2025: More than 250,000 swipes raised $18,981

What began as a small community initiative has grown into a powerful example of how everyday actions can create life-changing results. Each year, more customers choose the RFI Mascot Debit Card, and each year, more support is generated for the training and placement of Service Dogs across the country.

The check was presented at the Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce breakfast, where representatives from both BTC Bank and Retrieving Freedom celebrated this shared success. We are deeply grateful for every customer who chose a debit card that gives back and for BTC Bank’s continued generosity and partnership.
