One new placement. One new story of what a Service Dog can do. This month's Mission in Motion celebrates Eli and Idexx, a new Autism Program team already changing daily life for their family. Alongside their story, we are honoring September as Service Dog Month, welcoming a class of new arrivals to the program, thanking the community volunteers and whelping hosts making it all possible, and celebrating the outings, birthdays, and everyday moments that shape our future Service Dogs.

We are excited to announce that Sally, Andy, Eli, and Idexx passed their Public Access Test and are officially a placed team! At Retrieving Freedom, every Service Dog spends a minimum of two years in training, preparing for the moment they meet their partner. For Idexx, that partner is Eli, and this family worked hard for this moment. Already, they have found that having Idexx in their lives has helped in so many ways.
