At Retrieving Freedom, we recognize the unique challenges families face when raising a child with autism. Our Autism Service Dog Program provides specially trained dogs that offer safety, stability, and emotional support to both the child and their family.
Each dog is carefully matched to the child's specific needs. They can help prevent elopement, interrupt harmful behaviors, and provide calming pressure during stressful moments. These dogs also encourage social interaction and become a trusted companion who helps the child connect with the world around them.
After more than two years of focused training, our service dogs are placed at no cost to the family. They bring comfort, confidence, and hope to everyday life.
