Daniel and Wrangler: A Perfect Match on the Farm and Beyond

ree

Retrieving Freedom is proud to celebrate another incredible milestone. Daniel and his Service Dog, Wrangler, have officially passed their Public Access Test and are now a working team!

Since joining Daniel’s family, Wrangler has quickly proven to be a blessing in every way. He is fitting right in on the Avegalio farm, where life is full of energy, laughter, and plenty of animal friends. Wrangler has bonded closely with Daniel’s kids, who absolutely adore him, and he has also become fast friends with the family’s chickens, goats, and pigs.

Each day, Wrangler accompanies Daniel to work, where his charm and gentle nature have made quite an impression. True to his personality, Wrangler has already won over Daniel’s coworkers, who now keep water and treats at their desks just for him. Whether he is on the job, at home, or out on the road, Wrangler provides steady comfort, companionship, and support every step of the way.

Service Dogs like Wrangler are trained for over two years to meet the unique needs of their partners, offering practical assistance and emotional stability that improve daily life and foster independence. Daniel and Wrangler’s partnership is a beautiful example of the life-changing impact these dogs have, not just for their handlers but for entire families.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who helped make this partnership possible: the trainers, volunteers, fosters, and donors whose dedication and generosity fuel the Retrieving Freedom mission.
